Dr. Greger provides an indepth lecture on the various methods of regional anesthesia for foot and ankle surgery. She begins by discussing the innervation of the lower extremity, and then describes the regional blockade techniques of these nerves including femoral, saphenous, popliteal, and ankle blocks. The importance of a multimodal approach to post operative pain control is also described.

The complex ankle arthrodesis procedure is outlined in this lecture by Dr. Schuberth. Dr. Schuberth conveys the necessity of apposition of bone and stable fixation in order to have a successful outcome for the patient. Indications, ankle biomechanics, and surgical approaches are discussed, and Dr. Schuberth provides multiple case studies for evaluation.
