In this lecture, Dr. Steinberg discusses the incidence of Diabetic foot infections including characteristics that make the Diabetic limb more vulnerable to infections. He then discusses the often-overlooked fungal infections that frequently coexist with, or are precursors to, bacterial infections. Treatment options are outlined for both topical and oral anti-fungal agents, as well as combination therapy.
