Podiatric Dermatology - Ulcerations and Eczemas |
Myron Bodman, DPM Associate Professor Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine

Dr. Bodman covers various ulcerations and their classifications. Also discussed are various dermatosis and several common eczemas. Is that rust or extravasations of erythrocytes into the skin and the oxidation of the hemoglobin associated with venous hypertension? This question and many others are answered in this enjoyable and thought provoking presentation. Not everything we see is tinea pedis. Dr. Bodman helps us to broaden our understanding of dermatitis and eczemas. He points out the triggers and rationalizes the treatment. You will go back to you clinic saying ""So that's what that is"". From Granuloma Annulare, Lichen Simplex Chronicus, Dyshidrotic Eczema, Contact Dermatitis to Erythema Dodosum, you will come away from this lecture a better diagnostician.

Dr. Mendicino presents the diagnosis and soft tissue repair of Posterior Tibial Tendon Dysfunction. He highlights the indications for soft tissue repair and describes the use of the Flexor Digitorum Longus tendon transfer in detail. This includes a video of the procedure performed on a cadaveric specimen.
