In this lecture, Dr. Aimee Stotz provides a comprehensive review of surgical anesthesia. It begins with preoperative anesthesia evaluation and then proceeds to discuss various types of surgical anesthetics, including inhaled and intravenous types. Opioids and local anesthetics are also included in this lecture. Likewise, the pathophysiology, clinical presentation, and treatment of malignant hyperthermia is addressed.
