Diabetic neuropathy is a common complication of diabetes , in which nerves are damaged as a result of hyperglycemia (high blood sugar levels). Dr Vinik discusses its impact on the quality of life as well as new treatment modalities.

This presentation encompasses the associated deformities identified with equinus and the proper clinical way to examine patients with equinus. The lecture reviews open techniques for Gastrocnemius Recession and a step by step review of the Endoscopic Technique. The talk also demonstrates the advantages of the Endoscopic Technique.
