One of Dr. Solomon's surgical interests is rheumatoid arthritic reconstruction of the foot. This lecture on Reconstruction of the Rheumatoid Forefoot looks at both the historic and present approaches to conservative and surgical treatment of the foot. This lecture will introduce to the podiatrist the important medical and surgical considerations in the surgical reconstruction of the rheumatoid forefoot. Peri-operative care and alternatives surgical approaches are discussed in this presentation.
