James McGuire, DPM, PT, CPed discusses the ABCESS system for wound management, helps recognize essential elements of arterial, venous and lymphatic assessments, as well as help formulate the basics of wound bed management and bioload assessment. Dr McGuire further discusses the elements of cellular, exudate, and skin in reference to the ABCESS wound management system, reviews advances in new biomarkers of healing potential, as well as help compose appropriate strategies to offload the chronic non-healing wound.
