Using Cyclical Pressurized Topical Oxygen Therapy for Post-Surgical and Chronic Wounds

This webinar emphasizes the importance of maintaining continuity of care for patients by treating them safely at home as the COVID-19 pandemic persists, while discussing how it can be therapeutic for post-surgical and chronic wounds. The science of the application of pressurized topical oxygen will also be discussed. Randomized controlled studies have demonstrated improved clinical outcomes in a co-morbid population related to better, quicker, and long-term healing when this modality is utilized.

  1. Review the science that supports cyclical pressurized topical oxygen therapy.
  2. Understand the role that oxygen plays in healing post-surgical and chronic wounds.
  3. Discuss the “Quick Start” approach to using cyclical pressurized oxygen therapy.
  4. Present clinical cases on how cyclical-pressure topical oxygen therapy improves wound healing post-surgical and chronic wounds.
