This webinar will review ESWT, specifically, Pulsed Acoustic Cellular Expression in the treatment of diabetic foot ulcers. Pulsed Acoustic Cellular Expression is unique in that it provides electrohydraulically generated, focused, high energy at the tissue and cellular levels and reestablishes the body’s natural healing.

Learning Objectives:
  1. Define Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy (ESWT) and differentiate between types of shockwaves (ie, electrohydraulic, electromagnetic, and piezoelectric).
  2. Discuss how a type of ESWT, Pulsed Acoustic Cellular Expression Technology interacts with the tissue and at the cellular level to trigger a healing response.
  3. Describe the mechanism of action focused Pulsed Acoustic Cellular Expression Technology elicits in wound healing.
  4. Review clinical studies and real-life cases to demonstrate efficacy of focused Pulsed Acoustic Cellular Expression Technology in relation to standard of care (SOC) in the treatment of Diabetic Foot Ulcers.
